Source hierarchy

We prefer the current regulation and the agency that administers it. For federal refrigerant rules, that means the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations and EPA. For state or local licensing, it means the responsible government board or department. Training-provider pages and trade publications can add context but do not replace the administering authority.

Claim review

Before publication, consequential statements are checked against a named source. Variable fees, application forms, processing times, scope boundaries, and renewal rules must carry a review date and a direct source. If that work has not been completed, the page does not ship.

AI use

Software and AI may help organize research or identify passages for review. They are not treated as authorities. A source must be opened and the relevant claim checked before publication. We do not create fictitious experts, testimonials, credentials, or citations.

Commercial independence

Educational content is not changed to imply that a WalkInPath product is required by EPA or a licensing board. Paid products, when offered, are identified as independent planning materials. They are not official exams, certifications, approvals, or legal services.

Corrections and retirement

We correct material errors promptly and update the review date. A page is retired when its sources cannot support it or it cannot be maintained safely. The original launch's generated state pages were retired under this rule.
